NEW LOCATION COMING SOON!!

To our friends:

We have been offered a prime location in Historic Savage Mill in Howard County at a great deal. We had wanted to keep the Solomons location and open the new store as well, but circumstances prevent us from having both stores. Therefore, it is with great sadness that we will be leaving the Solomons location at the end of June. We are planning on adding delivery to those customers who would like to continue doing business with us. Don and I will be driving back and forth from Don's job and Clipper's to our home during the week and can arrange delivery to those who are interested. More about that later.

It is important to us that you know that we really love Solomons and Southern Maryland and that we have enjoyed having our store here for the past six years. I feel that I have developed true friendships with many of you - that you are more than simply customers of Clipper's. I know so many of you by name and many of you have been with us since we opened in June of 2005. Closing the store in Solomons is painful for me, and the decision came about in just the last two weeks. I am still trying to get used to the idea. As one customer said, when everything appears to line up in the universe and something seems meant to be, you have to go with it. We feel that this opportunity can't be ignored.

We are really very excited about the new location, especially because Kate will be back to her original leading role in our business. She is currently finishing a new website that she had started before the idea of moving came about. I will let you know when it is live so you can check it out. We will update our e-commerce site as well. And the emails will continue if you stay on the list to receive them. You can also check us out on Facebook. Needless to say, we would all love to see you if you visit the historic mill at Savage. There are many restaurants, shops, and businesses there as well as Terrapin Adventures which offers zip-line adventures over the Little Patuxent River - fun place to visit!

In the meantime, we hope you will continue coming to our store for your dog and cat related purchases. We hope you all have a great Memorial Day. We will be open Sunday and Monday from 11:00 to 4:00 and then regular hours again on Tuesday.

Sincerely,
Ann

Amazing Parson Russell Terrier!

Wow! This dog video is too cute!!

New Monday Hours!!

Clipper's Canine Cafe will now be open 7 days a week!! Starting this Monday, September 14th, Clipper's Canine Cafe will be open from 11-6 every Monday.

Clipper's New Collar

Clipper is trying to take a snooze but I wanted everyone to see his new Fish School Collar made by The Belted Cow!! We just got this great new line of collars in and we absolutely love them!! The Belted Cow focuses on two themes: Exceptional Artwork and Extraordinary Craftsmanship. They start with fresh, distinctive artwork from talented, free-thinking artists who love what they do and are encouraged to think outside the box. The Belted Cow then turns the artists' designs into the highest quality ribbon using damask style that incorporates a highly dense weave and double shuttling for highly saturated color and incredibly rich detail. They then stitch the ribbon onto products made from the highest quality materials available. All Belted Cow products are made in Maine by craftspeople renowned for their quality workmanship, attention to detail, integrity and pride.

To receive $5 OFF a Belted Cow collar enter code: BLOGBELTC at the time of checkout on our website.

Slow Feed Bowls

We recently started carrying these Skid Stop Slow Feed Bowls made by JW Pet Products. I decided to buy one for Clipper and boy does it work great!! Clipper is always very excited about his mealtimes and gobbles up everything in his bowl in a matter of seconds but this bowl really slowed him down! It's great for those dogs that bolt their food and it helps to prevent indigestion and bloat. The price for this Skid Stop Slow Feed Bowl is also significantly lower than the price for other bowls designed for the same purpose.

The Dog Pyramids Are Finally Here!!

We finally got the Dog Pyramids back in stock!! Anyone who has seen Clipper in action with this toy in the store knows it's clearly his favorite (well second favorite after his old Loopie he sleeps with every night-Lol)! This toy can be stuffed with treats or dry kibble that fall out when the toy is hit or moved. Because it is weighted at the bottom it always self rights to a vertical position. The Dog Pyramid will literally keep your dog stimulated and entertained for hours! We've got plenty in stock but they sell fast so stop by the store or order one from our website today!! www.shopclipperscaninecafe.com

COLLAR & LEASH COMBO DEAL!!

We're trying to make room in our store for the latest new collars and leashes but we need to sell some of our inventory first! If you buy a collar and leash set (excluding sale items) either on our website or in our store you'll receive $5 OFF the total combined price!!

For orders placed on the website enter the code CLDEAL0809 at the point of checkout. This coupon cannot be used with any other coupon. Deal ends on August 31, 2009.

SweetSpots

FREE SWEETSPOTS!!!
Bring your dog by Clipper's Canine Cafe today for free SweetSpots, a new line of all natural frozen ice cream treats for dogs! SweetSpots are guilt-free and healthy – 98% lactose-free, fortified with whey protein, and enriched with live active yogurt cultures. Because human ice cream is high in refined sugars, contains high levels of lactose, is high in fat and calories, and may contain chocolate or other ingredients potentially toxic to dogs it's not the best treat for our canine companions. SweetSpots are a frozen dessert made from low lactose dairy ingredients, moderate levels of natural sweeteners (like molasses and honey), and fortified with probiotics for better digestive health. Available in two delicious flavors: Sweet Potato & Molasses and Peanut Butter & Honey. Stop by with your pup today for your free box before we run out!!

Visiglo

After many requests for high quality collar and leash sets that illuminate, we finally found a product line we're confident our customers will be very satisfied with! The Visiglo collars and leashes utilize a garment suitable nylon that has an extremely high thread count making the durable collars more comfortable for dogs to wear and the heavy duty leashes easier for you to hold. The design engineers for Visiglo focused on four critical factors when developing the line: safety, value, functionality and style. With an easy on/off switch, these products will make you and your dog safe and visible for half a mile!!

Clipper just can't seem to fall asleep without his favorite Loopie toy!! Lol!

We forgot to mention the winner of the wonderful raffle basket that was kindly donated by Dogswell is Marie Petrosino!! Congratulations!!

The cat was swallowed by a fish!! Lol!
